On this talk, a perspective of Piazza being proposed as a service school wide from autumn semester will be offered. Preliminary results from the interviews the teachers who already used Piazza will be provided. Some of the points to discuss will include

  • Usage before / After covid
  • Some usage examples about student-collaborative elaboration of responses.
  • Feedback from teachers
  • Contractual questions about anonymity, data privacy, etc.

If you prefer to attend it online you can register here, otherwise, the session will be also held in person in room MA 3 31.

The lunch&LEARN series was created by the Center LEARN to stimulate the exchange between learning science researchers and everyone at EPFL interested in teaching. Our sessions seek to either translate learning research into teaching practice or provide evidence and insights from teaching practice. Video recordings and slides from previous sessions can be found on the lunch&LEARN webpage.
