Interface With Schools
Bring together national and international partners around the missions of EPFL, support our current and future Bachelor, Master, and PhD students in their choices and ambitions, ensure good visibility of the programs offered by the School, and act proactively to ensure a smooth transition from secondary education to EPFL.
The Education Outreach Department (SPE) coordinates the activities of the EPFL high school interface, which brings together members of the EPFL management, teachers from all faculties, as well as various experts in topics related to the transition.
The SPE serves as a platform for reflecting on education policy and developing action strategies. It acts as a liaison, promoting initiatives, and following up on matters between the different stakeholders.
The SPE’s mission is to develop and nurture relationships between secondary education teaching staff and EPFL, ensuring effective coordination of educational programs and facilitating the transition of students from high school to engineering studies.
This mission is carried out through regular meetings and events, which allow for the communication of updates, sharing of best practices, and collaboration.
