ALGORITHMISCHE KUNST: DENKER – SPIELER – MACHER

On June 8, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the BeLEARN Hub, two workshops led by Dr. Susan Grabowski from EPFL and computer art pioneer Prof. Dr. Frieder Nake from Bremen University will combine computer science education and the arts. 
 

  • From 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm: The free workshop entitled ALGORITHMIC ART: THINKERS – ACTORS – CREATORS aims to introduce participants to algorithmic art and its use in art and education, by generating algorithmic images themselves and having them drawn by the Thymio robot.

 

  • From 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Frieder Nake will give a talk entitled THINKING AND COMPUTERS, using examples of algorithmic art.
